IT Systems Engineer
Have you ever wondered what IT Systems Engineering is all about?
It’s about being the person who designs and builds an IT Infrastructure from scratch for a new business or keeping an existing infrastructure running, continuously improving and updating your systems for optimum performance.
A Systems Engineer will manage and maintain a business’ IT department, covering all the bases in the process from preparing recovery documentation, upgrade procedures to designing new ways to implement new software and hardware with minimum downtime.
One of the main roles as an IT Systems Engineer would be to have designed your infrastructure in such a way that if a “crash” were to occur, your systems will suffer as little downtime as possible during the recovery.
It will also be up to you as the Systems Engineer to decide when it is time to upgrade your systems with new software or hardware and to choose when these upgrades will be done.
Another aspect of being a Systems Engineer is to keep searching for ways to improve and build on the infrastructure that “you” the Systems Engineer has designed and built, in order to keep the business flowing and expanding.
Wouldn’t it be nice to know that “you’re” infrastructure design is the reason for this growth…
