IT Support Engineer



The role of an IT Systems Support Engineer is to assist others with network problems, application failures, hardware and general software problems, to do it in as short a time as possible, preventing extended periods of downtime.

As support, part of your job would be to troubleshoot problems, research the problems using all available resources at your disposal, to also test thoroughly before implementing a solution and then properly implement it.

Another aspect of the IT Support industry is to be able to handle difficult individuals in a professional and respectful manner; this is where Customer Service training is beneficial, it is crucial to your success as an IT professional.

Being able to repair a network error and get the company up and running as soon as possible is critical to the functioning of the company.
