Companies are hungry for Developers, Database Administrators and Designers, because companies depend on IT and business applications to run. Programmers and developers are highly paid, and within a few years you can quickly work your way up to R40 000 or more per month.

In this track we focus on three main areas of expertise:
  • Programming – making a computer do things it could not do before. This is where you tell your application what to do, and how to do it.
  • Networking – Very few applications nowadays work in isolation – there is always a network involved, whether it is for communication between computers and people or just to download updates, your applications need to be ready for a wired world.
  • Databases – Most applications use a database to store its information, and this is an essential (if not the most exciting!) skill that every developer will need to master.
